Jenny Byrne - A brief lesson in archaeology

Cultivate in tight spaces, seek spartan

beauty in stygian darkness

seat yourself within the chariot of Selene

galloping from the eclipse

Bury sentimentality, excavate the

chalky dust of brittle bones

bearing the fruit of your skeleton

Speak in ancient tongues that drip

with the syrup of a hundred lemons

twist and turn the map —

find a way.
